God Loves Me!
Child will know that God sees them everywhere they go
Child will act out different activities while saying 'God sees me!'
Child will feel secure knowing God is always watching over them
βWhere could I go from your Spirit? Or where could I flee from your presence? If I ascend up into heaven, you are there. If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, you are there!β
β Psalm 139:7-8 (WEB)This psalm shows us that God is everywhere - no matter where we go, God sees us and is with us, just like we'll act out in our movement activity
Welcome to today's BibleMouse lesson! Yesterday we learned that God made you wonderful - you are exactly how God wanted you to be! Today we're going to discover something amazing: God sees you everywhere you go! Look in the mirror with me. Can you see yourself? God sees you too - everywhere!
God has very special eyes! He can see you when you're playing in your room, when you're eating lunch, when you're sleeping in your bed, and even when you're hiding under a blanket! God sees you everywhere because He loves you and wants to take care of you. The Bible tells us that no matter where we go, God is there with us!
We're going to pretend to do different activities around the house and say 'God sees me!' after each one. This will help us remember that God is always watching over us with love!
Simpler: Just do 2-3 actions and help child say the words, focus more on the fun movements
Challenge: Add more activities like brushing teeth, getting dressed, or helping mommy, and have child suggest new actions
What a fun way to remember that God sees us everywhere! God loves you so much that He never stops watching over you. You are never alone because God is always there!
Dear God, thank You for watching over me everywhere I go. Help me remember that You are always with me. I love You! Amen.
Coming up: Tomorrow we'll learn about how big God's love is for you - bigger than anything you can imagine!
βGod made everything!β
β Genesis 1:1 (WEB)π― Activity: Practice while doing jumping jacks - say 'God made' (jump out), 'everything!' (jump in). Do 5 times together, then let child lead you in doing it 3 more times.
Psalm 139 is a beautiful chapter about God's omnipresence and omniscience. For PK3, we focus on the comforting truth that God sees and cares for them everywhere, building security rather than fear of being watched.
Some children might feel scared about being watched all the time. Focus on God's love and protection rather than surveillance.
